The Man of Steel may return for a ninth season of CW’s superhero drama.
The reports of Smallville’s demise have been greatly exaggerated. The Popular belief had the long-running Superman drama flying off into the sunset at the end of season eight, but now it seems there’s a cry to move forward.
An inside source who says that main star Tom Welling is in discussions to renew his contract for a ninth season, and both sides are so close to striking a mega deal, that will make Tom Welling rich.
Tom is the key to keeping Smallville on the air, and CW is apparently willing to add some pretty nice zeroes to his salary to keep him. When Allison Mack pondered leaving, producers resigned her for what is rumored to be some serious dooh.
With season nice hovering in the shadows, there promise of more Justice League of America action and a recent jump in quality has loyalists excited for the future of the show.

The show Smallville should continue on with Tom Welling as Clark Kent & as superman as he excepts Jor-EL as his father & with Allison Mack & Justin Hartley,Cassidy Freeman,& Aaron Ashmore in season 8 & 9 plus with the justice league & more superheros & new enemies for the justice league & enemies of Clark. they should have Lois & Clark start their romantic relationship in season 8 & 9 & that they admit they love each other & that they get married while Lois finds out that Clark is superman.also have Chloe help green arrow & Clark & with the justice league.the 8th season has been excellent & the 9th they should have Clark become superman.
Erica Durance should be in more episodes of Smallville for season 8 & nine she plays the best Lois Lane I have ever seen both Tom & Erica make the best team & romantic relationship.they make a better in love couple than Lana & Clark together Lois & Clark have a better love connection than Lana & Clark did plus they make the best reporter team than any other pair of reporters. Lois should tell Clark she loves him & Clark should tell her he also loves her I want to see them kissing in the show as well as being the best pair of reporters & pair of lovers also. Erica deserves to be in more episodes with Clark in the show Smallville.I am very excited about another season of Smallville & even a 10th season or more.even if they change the name of the show.But still have Tom & Erica,Justin Hartley,Aaron Ashmore,& Allison Mack still on the show even if they change the name of the show.

Tom as Clark Kent should become the legend superman in season 9 & hopefully 10.so Lois & Clark get closer & that she finds out Clark is superman & that she is the only reporter to get the interview with him.also have Lois fall for Clark & get married & have a baby in season 9 or a season 10 which would be very nice to have.also have Erica Lois be able to deal with Clark’s secret identity as superman with her not telling anyone Tom would do excellent as superman he is the best superman pick you could have ever chosen as well as Erica Durance as the best Lois Lane ever also.Allison Mack is also one of the best choices you could have made as well as Cassidy Freeman,Justin Hartley,& Aaron Ashmore in their role you have picked the best crew ever.I hope that Clarks mom Annette O’Toole will see that her son Clark becomes superman & she also should be in maybe some episodes in season 9 & maybe 10 which I would very much like to see.the show Smallville with all the characters is more than capable of going to a season 9 & 10.season 8 has been excellent this yr. I also like that Lois & Clark are falling in love with each other.Tom would play a wonderful superman the legend with Erica durance as Lois his real true love.
