Automatically famous as the younger sister of pop star Jessica Simpson, Ashlee Simpson became well-known in her own right as Cecilia on 7th Heaven and star of her own show, The Ashlee Simpson Show. Her focus has since shifted to music, both on Broadway and in the recording studio.
Ashlee Simpson’s main appeal comes from her fresh-faced youth and natural exuberance. Refreshingly, she isn’t as blatant with her personal life as her sister, Jessica, who made headlines by declaring her premarital virginity with much hoopla.
